Privacy Policy

The short version

Kelto is an app for iPhone and Android for keeping track of when your warranties, contracts, and documents expire. It was built to work entirely on your device. We don't run servers that receive your data, we don't ask you to create an account, and we don't include analytics, advertising, or tracking tools in the app.

What the app stores

Everything you enter into Kelto — item names, stores, providers, amounts, dates, notes, and any photos of receipts or documents you attach — is saved only in the app's storage on your phone. It is never sent to us or to any third party.

Because we never receive this information, we can't see it, share it, sell it, or recover it for you. If you delete the app, your Kelto data is deleted with it.

Device backups

If you back up your phone — with iCloud Backup or to a computer on iPhone, or with Google's device backup on Android — that backup may include Kelto's data along with your other apps. It's managed by Apple or Google under your account and their privacy policies; we have no access to it.

Permissions

Kelto only asks for access when you use a feature that needs it, and you can change these at any time in your phone's Settings:

• Notifications — to remind you before something expires. Reminders are scheduled locally on your phone.
• Camera and Photos — to snap or upload a receipt or document. Images are processed and stored on your device.

What we don't do

• No sign-up, login, or account of any kind.
• No analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs.
• No tracking across apps or websites, and no data sold or shared.

The App Store and Google Play

Kelto is distributed through Apple's App Store and Google Play. Apple and Google may collect information about downloads and purchases under their own privacy policies. We only see the aggregated, anonymous statistics they provide to all developers.

This website

getkelto.com doesn't use cookies, analytics, or tracking. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers when you visit.

Links to Instagram take you to a service governed by Instagram's own privacy policy.

Children

Kelto doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
